“Time Bobby” was voted the #1 episode of Comedy Bang Bang, which means I’m going to follow up on my promise! More animation! This makes me happy, because I LOVE drawing these characters and I can’t wait to act them out again.
I’ve already animated these guys doing what I want, so this time around, what do YOU guys want? Send me suggestions via twitter, Comedy Bang Bang fans.
A poll is happening right now where you can vote for your favorite CBB episodes of the year. You guys, I’m not trying to sway voters per se, but if “Time Bobby” HAPPENS to be voted the best of the year, I JUST MAY be moved to do another Time Bobby animation to celebrate. I’d take your suggestions, even!
Here’s the pencil test version of the final ALW/Forvel walk loop. I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.
Here’s the final animation for Andrew Lloyd Webber and that incorrigible little orphan Fourvel from the “Time Bobby” episode of Comedy Bang Bang! It is so funny and great and still my favorite! To see this animation bigger, click here!
ALSO, the legend of musical theatre is appearing on CBB TV tonight! I hope he enjoys his animation AND his night on television.
I ended up running out of time for color if I wanted something ready to post tonight, so I decided to experiment with making it look kind of old-timey instead. I’m still open to coloring it traditionally, though!
Hey @ComedyBangBang fans! I’m animating a little thing that will be finished by this weekend! Just for fun. And I’m having a ridiculous amount of fun working on this (because there is something wrong with my brain).
I will never, ever get tired of drawing these characters. (If you don’t know who they are you should go find out immediately.) I’m gonna turn this into a walk cycle! And then that will probably be the last bit of casual animation on the blog for a while because I’m starting a very exciiiiiiting project that is going to be very great, I hope!
I LOVE THIS!! My friend Kirsten Lepore is working on a new stop-motion animated film and a bunch of us got together and designed puppet extras for her. Looks like little ol’ Fourvel is making a cameo! I built the skeleton and head for this guy but she finished him up (i.e. 90% of the work) and, I have to say, did a MUCH better job than I ever could have done. SO CUTE. Can’t wait to see him move!
